About One Teaspoon Fashion Label

Australian fashion label ‘One Teaspoon’ is a household clothing label name amongst female teenagers and young adults. One Teaspoon clothing and accessories are stocked in over 200 shops Australia-wide including General Pants Co as well as two One Teaspoon boutique shops (one in Bondi, Sydney and other shop in Perth). Considering the One Teaspoon label was only launced in the year 2000, it has achieved amazing success in the cut throat fashion industry.

The woman behind the success is Australian Jamie Blakey, a self taught fashion designer / business women who began her One Teaspoon fashion career out of her bedroom where her first collection included 10 clothing pieces.

More recently, the One Teaspoon label has expanded into the accessories market and includes One Teaspoon Le Specs Sunglasses. In July 2007, Jamie teamed with with international sunglass manufacturer Le Specs to release a limited edition summer collection of sunglasses in bright colours including mint, pink, yellow, lilac and white. The One Teaspoon sunglasses collection includes 80’s inspired aviators, 70’s oversized vintage frames, and candy coloured stripes. One Teaspoon shoes / sandals have also recently entered shops across Australia. The release of so many fashion accessories by One Teaspoon simply exemplify the dynamic capabilities of the label to create the complete outfit.

One Teaspoon is probably most recognized for her chic, cute dresses, skirts, shorts and tops that have been a huge success, specifically amongst the younger generation. One Teaspoon is definitely a fashion label to keep at least one eye on as the brand progressively expands to create more fashion accessories and further expand the Australian and overseas fashion markets.
